MODE OF ACTION:
BLOCK CHAIN-71 is a non-selective, systemic herbicide belonging to the Organophosphorus group. It works by inhibiting the essential plant enzyme EPSPS (5-enolpyruvyl shikimate-3-phosphate synthase), which prevents the production of aromatic amino acids required for protein synthesis within the plant. As a result, protein synthesis stops, leading to the gradual death of treated plants.
